Subtitle Corrections
This is not a software project. It's just a repository to store subtitles of videos where I notice errors in said subtitles and it makes for an easy diff view of what needs to be fixed. I then send video creators a link to the diff.
For creators
If you received a link to this repository:
- Open the pull request link you were sent. It's description explains what I found.
- Open the Files changed tab to see every proposed edit line by line.
- Since I don't have access to your original subtitle file, I'm using whatever I can download from Youtube (or whatever video platform in question is used) and edit that. You can press Download raw file, then upload that file as your video's subtitles in YouTube Studio (or other) to apply.
Nothing here is merged or automated — the main branch always holds
the untouched originals. If a proposed fix looks wrong, just reply to
the message where you got this link; discussion happens there.
