Even though the explainer clearly says:

Enter the original domain or regex pattern (without protocol), e.g. "x.com" or "(.).fandom.com/(.)":

I had just copied mine from Kagi, assuming it'd be the same. So I think having some kind of check to the user to make sure that if the input contains http or https that they should double check it's not the actual protocol itself and are doing it wrong.
