Currently you can only select from the preselected options and then enter a specific date.. But I can't really imagine a sceneario where I would want to search for a specific day. A date range would make more sense but I guess some of the search providers might not support it or something?

I asked kagi to implement this back in the day iirc and I quite liked the flexibility of it even if it wasn't always super accurate.
You can enter both 'from' and 'to' or one of the two would also work; so you could for example do "only results from before 01/01/2026"
